How Product Resolver Ranks Results

Product Resolver is designed to resolve purchase intent before it monetizes a click. The response must expose fit, confidence, source notes, disclosure, and whether a link is affiliate-supported.

Ranking Inputs

Ranking starts with printer compatibility, then considers category, source confidence, yield class, quantity, OEM versus compatible preference, and whether the user asked for toner, ink, drum, bottle, or maintenance supplies.

Affiliate Separation

Affiliate status is not treated as proof of best fit. Affiliate-supported mode may return disclosed links; neutral mode is reserved for callers that require non-affiliate output.

Current Data Scope

The current beta covers a focused catalog of common Brother, HP, Canon, and Epson printers. Some mappings are manufacturer-verified; seeded mappings are labeled so agents can handle them conservatively.
